Al spent decades helping shape the signature sound of The Samples, and with Al's Hwy50 he's taken that musical spirit in a fresh direction. Every performance is unique, with the band stretching out through improvisation, deep grooves, and the musical chemistry that comes from truly listening to one another.
Rooted in the rich traditions of Jamaican ska and reggae while drawing from jazz and rock influences, Al's Hwy50 creates a sound that's both timeless and original.
